- Customization: Work closely with dentists and dental lab technicians to customize restorations for individual patients, ensuring they blend seamlessly with the patient's natural dentition.
- Material Selection: Choose appropriate ceramic materials and shades for each restoration, taking into consideration factors such as the patient's age, skin tone, and overall dental aesthetics.
- Shade Matching: Master the art of shade matching to achieve a precise color match with the patient's existing teeth.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure that each restoration meets the highest standards of fit, function, and aesthetics.
- Artistic Skills: Utilize artistic skills to replicate the unique characteristics of natural teeth, including surface texture, translucency, and color gradients.
- Laboratory Equipment: Operate and maintain various dental laboratory equipment, such as ceramic furnaces, porcelain ovens, and other tools required for ceramic layering.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of materials used, techniques applied, and patient-specific details to ensure consistency in future restorations.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with dentists and other dental professionals to address patient needs and preferences, as well as to provide feedback and make necessary adjustments to restorations.
- Continuing Education: Stay current with advancements in dental ceramics and attend relevant workshops or courses to improve and expand skills and knowledge.
